NEW YORK – Mar. 25, 2010 – Nickelodeon announced the launch of several new apps for the iPhone and iPod touch based on its most popular television properties and leading online games. The first-ever app themed to the Nickelodeon's 23rd Annual Kids' Choice Awards, airing Saturday, March 27, will provide fans with a new level of interactivity including live streams of the star-studded Orange Carpet arrivals and the backstage action of the Awards show, and the ability to cast their votes at the touch of a button.
New apps to join Nickelodeon's full suite of apps, which have generated almost 5 million downloads over the past year, include a gaming application based on the popular Nick Jr. characters Moose and Zee; AddictingGames' Sky Storm and High School Cheerleader, Diego Snowboard Rescue.
