1991: Host Corky Nemec (Parker Lewis Can't Lose) turns green.
1992: Nickelodeon's first triple celebrity sliming: the young stars of Home Improvement, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Zachary Ty Brian and Taran Noah Smith.
1994: Esteemed actor/voice of Star Wars' Darth Vader, James Earl Jones, is slimed.
1995: Comedian and star of Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, Mark Curry curries favor and is slimed.
1996: Mark Curry (Hangin' with Mr. Cooper) slimes the Queen – actress and rap star Queen Latifah.
1997: Madonna sets up her friend Rosie O'Donnell via "videophone" for a sliming.
1998: Rap star Sean Puffy Combs (Puff Daddy) becomes the latest recipient of Nickelodeon's highest honor, a sliming.
1999: WWF's wrestling wild man "Macho Man" Randy Savage turns green with shock after getting slimed.
2000: In addition to winning three orange Blimps, Will Smith receives Nickelodeon's highest honor of the day and is slimed.
2001: The show's grand finale features two slimings of superstars. Tom Cruise strides up to help Rosie O'Donnell with a faulty slime transducer, pushes the wrong button and "accidentally" slimes himself. 'N Sync, the original target, gets the green goo, too, when Cruise rectifies his mistake.
2002: For the first time in Nickelodeon history, recording artist Pink inspires a pink-colored sliming following her explosive musical show open. The show concludes in true kid-fashion when a lost Adam Sandler drifts onstage, and wily host Rosie clicks on techno-gadgetry that beams the star up to his destination – and gooey green destiny.
2003: Joyfully green Jim Carrey gets goo-ed and feathered in a super-sized sliming. In a great "gotcha" moment Carrey switches from clueless to cagey, turning to spread the slime to host Rosie O'Donnell and unsuspecting audience members. Charlie's Angels' famous trio – Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore – are caught off-guard with a "noodle" sliming.
2004: Surprised host Mike Myers turns green with glee, drenched from head to toe in a spectacular slimefest of massive sprays, a balloon drop and a ping-pong ball explosion. In another double-goo-d mess, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are slimed.
2005: Slime showers splash down on an astonished Johnny Depp, drenching him from head to toe, spreading gobs of goo to host Ben Stiller and eliciting shrieks of delight from the crowd. Not ready for slime time Will Ferrell gleefully weathers slime showers too, courtesy of Mia Hamm.
2006: Right at the get-go, Jack Black turned green when he tripped a goo-gushing fountain, after opening the show a la School of Rock with five kid band members. Adam Sandler got the goo-d stuff, too, when his magical remote control backfired and triggered his sliming. In a climactic moment of mess, slime soaked a surprised Robin Williams.
